Total Appreciation

Today was a dreary San Joaquin Valley day. I started a fire immediately, patiently keeping it stoked through out the day. Spent most of the day cultivating my new back label for pipe dreams. As I daydreamed and gazed outside, I noticed the gnarly old vines at their wildest with bare canes without their leaves... I thought "I can't wait to prune the vines, I long for it." It's crazy. Then I recognized with total appreciation my friend David Maier pruning our 17 acre vineyard. Branch by branch, vine by vine, row by row. So far only a few grows done but countless cuts made each day. Thank you my brother for your discipline and dedication.

last thoughts on the first of the day!

Midnight and another day has come to an end...today was a day of brainstorming on new label designs and developing wholesale strategies out at the winery, tonight was a chance to pour our estate grown Old Vine Zins both 2008 vintage and the delicious Zinsation late harvest dessert wine at the Ave On the Mile...all I have to say...is today was a good day!

Pouring wine at the AVE ON THE MILE

Support your favorite winery at the Ave by purchasing a glass of Harmony Wynelands Zinfandel or Zinsation late harvest next time you're there. Atmosphere was relaxed and the mood was positive...especially after a little vino was ingested. oh yeah....

Gorgeous Day here at the winery. Got a good friend pruning , working on a new label and enjoying the creative process of attracting wine drinkers to the winery.
